3. yeah, those coconut ones. oy
they seem even more decadent than they are because there are not that many in a box, making it too easy to consume a whole one.
get thee back, satan.

5. The Samoa's are my favs too--Here's a recipe
This recipe pretty acurately replicates the Girl Scout cookie...In fact they're better

And here's a recipe for making a quickie version using Lorna Doons boxed cookies

4. I have to tell you all how strong I've been
I ate ONE thin mint cookie. Only one...and it wasn't even frozen the way I really like them. I stared those girl scouts down and won!

6. At $4 a box,
I have no problem passing them by. I really wish they would stop allowing them, and everyone else, to set up in the door of the grocery store. I hate being accosted when I'm trying to run in to get things.

8. I don't either

and with credit/debit cards you can easily say you have no cash and/or you already bought some.

I've been avoiding them, but my wife went to visit her mother and, awwww.... the girls were at the store, and they bought the boxes.

So, anyway, we have them - the thin mints (and the peanut ones, but I hate those) - at least she didn't buy the shortbread cookies. I have an incredible, um, short? tooth for shortbread cookies.

10. I have found a new favorite GS cookie. Lemonades.
They are new this year, at least in my area. They are a shortbread cookie with a layer of lemon icing and they are goooood!

11. Shush!

You retract that post RIGHT NOW!

I don't need to know about any new "flavors"!

Dammit.

I'll be at the store in the morning. (sigh)
