What's for Dinner? ~ Tuesday Edition
Chinese.
Definitely this time. :)

We'll either do stir-fried chicken and veggies, or pot stickers, with egg drop soup.
And fried rice or lo-mein noodles.

What's for dinner where you are?

10. We simplified. Bill was helping his brother with some storm damage.
So... he made his Chicken Fried rice. The man can cook Chinese food. :) I'm still stuffed.

Broiling sounds like a good preparation for the lamb chops! We don't see lamb in our grocery store so I don't know much about cooking it properly.

11. Lucky you that he cooked tonight!
Lamb chops are easy. You pretty much don't want to overcook them. I just get them done all the way through and that's that. If I'm not sure, I just slice them in the middle to take a peek and broil a minute or two longer. They're very tender that way if you keep a watch on them.

12. I'm a slice and peeker from way back. :) Makes sense to do it with broiled meats too.
I am lucky! Bill cooks a lot. We both love to cook, and fortunately, we both have different dishes that we do well. :)

13. You know, it didn't turn out as bad as I thought it might.
And Mr. T is happy and says he won't ask for it again
for a while. ;)

3. I’ll be home very late tonight
So my 15 year old son will be making dinner for himself and his lil brother. I suspect that he will open a bag of tortilla chips, open a can of chili beans, and shred some cheese. Then he will artfully arrange ingredients on a plate. Microwave until cheese is melted. Then when I get home they will eat the green beans that they mysteriously forgot to put on their plates despite the fact that I told them to.

I normally make dinner the day before if I know I’ll be home late, but… I Was Lazy!!!!!!

I'll be having leftover soup when I get home.

7. I could go for some tortilla chips right now.
I took a break for a second, am watching a vid, and something crunchy, salty sounds goooood.

4. I have some
eggplant slices marinating in a balsamic/lemon vinaigrette and some Ain5 modified wheat/semolina bread sitting out.

Gonna put slices of organic tomatoes that taste pretty summery on top of the eggplant with some feta and gorgonzola and shredded Italian cheeses and roast them in the vinaigrette.

:hi:
