Dutch Baby Pancake
http://whatscookingamerica.net/Eggs/GermanPancake.htm

I used yogurt instead of milk and added a little nutmeg with the cinnamon.

The standard blurry shot of the results :eyes: served with powdered sugar and home-canned apple conserve (which I didn't make.)

2. I thought I remembered
giving someone here the recipe. LOL This one turned out so lovely I had to take a picture. LOL And still it doesn't show the depth of the thing. It was really incredible!

I'm glad you tried it and like it. :hi:

5. Made it again this morning!

Again it was absolutely delicious, except not as pretty. It went a little wild on me.
Yours looks a little thicker. I wonder if it is due to the yogurt?

It occurred to me that it tastes a lot like bread pudding with a similar consistency,
which is why the traditional lemon squeezed on top works so well. In fact I'll bet that a lemon bread pudding sauce on this would be dynOmite! Or even just lemon curd.

Next time I think I'll try it.

6. I can't get dutch babies locally-- would this work with belgian babies...?
I think I can find some frozen-- the only babies we can get fresh this time of year are American or Hispanic. Occasionally some oriental ones.
