SodaClub USA -- anyone here have this device.
I've been toying with getting an old-fashioned seltzer bottle but this newfangled one is interesting. It's not electric or battery powered, so I'm not sure it's worth it for making seltzer alone.

1. I am particularly inerested for Mr.sazemisery's Christmas present
He has worn out 3 different seltzer bottles in the last 5 years. You won't find a good seltzer bottle for any less than $50.00. I'd be interested in hearing from anyone also.

2. Interesting.
If the SodaClub ones last longer it would be a good deal.

4. I have had my SodaClub about 15 months. The oldest bottles
expire April 2009.

3. I do. I love it. It does make 110 liters. The bottles are reusable.
The expiration date on my bottles is '09. I take my tanks back to the store and trade them in for new ($20+ dollars each.)

Saves money, and does not fill my garbage with plastic soda bottles.

5. I've explored CO2 charging systems before and found them wanting
Edited on Sat Aug-02-08 04:15 PM by Warpy
because the CO2 bottles were tiny and required frequent replacement.

I ordered this one. I probably won't even use most of the syrup. I love plain seltzer water, especially ice cold and in the summer.

Thanks for posting this.

6. I looked at it quickly
I've heard of them, but never checked them out much, probably because I'm trying to drink less carbonated beverages, but what's the specifics on using it? You've got a CO2 charger, presumably, and you pour into the bottom of each glass or bottle you want to fill from one of the 20-something flavor jars?
