Vanilla flavored almond milk
I've been looking for ways to make a better low fat breakfast smoothie for my diet. I got some unsweetened, vanilla flavored almond milk to try. It's Almond Breeze by Blue Diamond, I had my health food store order it for me.

I added the usual ice cubes, banana, oatmeal flakes and more vanilla. Although it didn't double in volume like cow or soy milk, the flavor was the best so far.

1. Almonds are very high in fat
but it's the good fat. That's why almond "milk" tastes so good.

I've been making nut "milk" at home for ages, but I tend to use it pretty sparingly and generally when I've run out of instant soymilk for baking.

I don't know about that brand. I imagine they may have partially defatted it somehow to get it down to 3 g per cup.

4. I was using liquid soy milk
But they add a bunch of sweetener to it so I looked for an alternative. Even defatted, the almond milk made a satisfying breakfast. I might add some egg white to a batch tomorrow.

2. How many almonds do you have to milk to get a glass?
