will using bleach water on my blue tiles hurt them?
I have to kill a lot of flies these days with the contractors in and out all day and I am just grossed out so I have been using a 10% bleach solution to finish when I'm cleaning the counters.

I have blue tile with black (charcoal) grout

and just cuz it's so darn cute, here's the kitty that came with the house

1. it shouldn't affect glazed tile colors...
...but you can always try a small spot first to see.

2. It won't affect the glaze
and shouldn't affect the grout, although depending on the pigment, it may lighten the grout slightly.

How do the dogs feel about their new roomie? She's adorable. Just make sure she's been fixed, or she'll present you with a litter before you know it. She looks to be just the right age...

I wonder if she'll ever grow into those ears!

5. Lordy! That is one cute little moocher!!
But then I have an incurable weakness for pink-nosed kitties.

I would insert a pic of the World's Most Irritable Cat if I knew how.

wistfully,
Bright

8. not yet. and not sure it's a she yet either
the names running around are

"JAC" (just another cat)

"TweedleDee"

"Kitty"

"Miss PuddenHead"

she doesn't answer to any of them, not even Kitty.

20. Lift the tail.
One hole: it's a boy. Two holes: it's a girl.

It's really sad the former owners didn't tell you the kitty's name. It's really sad they left her (she looks like a her so far).

12. That's his "I'm thinking about whether or not to bite you" expression...
...and the usual decision is to chomp. Unless it's within an hour or so of meal time.

Bless the boy, he had a tough childhood. I got him from the shelter with a busted tail and a wild-eyed expression.

But he's VERY handsome. At least he thinks so. And yes, the pink nose sort of cramps his "I'm a dangerous carnivorous predator and you should RESPECT me" style.

amusedly,
Bright

18. Lots of pool time
I have an open invitation to swim in my friend's pool. It's been so darn hot I've taken advantage of that quite a bit the past few weeks. It's also been too hot to sit in the house when you have no A/C and an inviting front porch. It's much cooler tonight. ;)

Is she a "she" for sure? I love the attitude cats have. They really don't care who they terrorize.

15. Bleach them..let dry and then brush on grout sealer
to keep the grout from absorbing gunk..and keeps them nice and clean looking too :)
