Will dinner be ready? Will it be edible?
I gave my husband a ride home on my lunch hour today.

While at home, I took the opportunity to throw a few things in the crockpot: chicken stock, a chopped onion, three diced carrots, a can of chicken, and a cup of french lentils. I set it on low and walked away.

Oh, and I also filled up the gas tank and stopped at the pharmacy. All things I would not have done if I had worked through lunch like I usually do.

I'm so happy my husband missed the bus.

4. Spot on, on all counts.
I flipped it to high when I walked in the door, and the lentils were tolerably al dente. Surprisingly salty, however. I fleshed out the dinner with leftover bbq and mangoes from Costco.

How's NM treating you? Will the mods allow you to change your handle?

5. yes, with the canned chicken and the broth salt may indeed have
been a bit much

as for me, the remodel goes apace and the name will stay the same probably until after the 2008 elections when Skinner usually does a no penalty name change
