I'm so excited I can't stand it.. the other one was so old with a warped door and over and undercooked everything.

I'm gonna be a cookin fool this week!!

First meal is Chicken Caccatore with fresh green and red bell peppers from the farmers market, angel hair pasta and garlic bread that isn't burned on the bottom and cold on the top! that's the real exciting part! lol

2. Gitcha an oven thermometer
the transition from the old oven to the new one could be a difficult path. You've learned to compensate for the old one's .... uh ..... shortcomings. The thermometer will help you get acquainted with the new one.

3. Oh great idea... I'll do that tomorrow.
And my garlic bread was PERFECT... I'm a happy and stuffed Kynd tonight. An extra mile on the bike tomorrow for the extra bread tonight. I was so happy to have it I couldn't stop! lol

5. I would LOVE to have a new gas stove. Mine is probably 40 years old.
But the chances of my landlord replacing it in spite of its shortcomings, if it's functioning at all, are exactly zero. What does HE care if it heats the entire kitchen up to the interior temp of the oven because it's poorly insulated???

7. Wouldn't that be wonderful? I believe June Cleaver used mine
at one time. We have a full kitchen where I work and my boss lets me do my Christmas baking there on our beautiful new range with a wonderful oven.

6. Good for you
There's nothing like cooking with gas. I hope I never have to go back to electric.
