Silicone rocks!
I made muffins Saturday morning in my new silicone muffin pan. The cups are much bigger than those of my tins, so I counted on cooking the muffins longer. They were beautiful and cooked through and enormous!

mr. swim put the silicone in the dishwasher and it seems to be all right.

1. good news indeed
I have been eyeing these for some time, but had reservations about them. Dishwasher safe will be a bonus; ms. stepup2 does clean up when I bake; she loves her choreboy and has ruined a few of my loaf pans.

2. Silicone is dishwasher safe
Not all of it, but the baking pans, pot holders, spoon rests, spoons, etc., I have all seem to be.

One silicone item that is ***not*** dishwasher safe is the Silpat (if you have one of those). I assume this also applies to the non-Demarle imitators, too.

3. Thanks for the info
I think I will like the space saving aspect of these pans; not to mention saving shins and noggins from the avalanches that occur around here.
