Converting VHS tpaes into a Mac for burning onto a DVD
I know it can be done, but what is the best product out there to facilitate this?

Thx!

1. I bought ADVC300 -- my husband has used it successfully --
I haven't tried it yet...it is several years old by now. Bought it for a project that fell thru. I would do research and see if there is a newer/better product out there.

Hubby found it easy to use.

3. Yes, there is some hardware that you can buy. I converted some Greek
tapes into digital using IONS's product. Here is a link to their VHS version:

Do a google search and get the company itself. I purchased my casssette to usb product through the company itself.

4. I was looking at the ADVC110.
I never got past the looking stage though.

I think it goes for about 200 bucks.

5. I use the Datavideo DAC-200

Had it for a few years. I also use it to convert cassette tapes to mp3. Not sure if it's made anymore but maybe you can find a used one on e-bay.
