Just had the Morning Star riblets for the first time,....
...and I've got to say, they're pretty good. BBQ is the one thing that always disappoints me when it comes to vegetarian versions, but as BBQ goes, it was pretty good.

1. They are pretty good, aren't they.
I'm usually wary of Morningstar Farms since they tend to sneak eggs or milk into their stuff. I was pleasantly surprised to find these to be vegan and just about the same in quality and quantity as the Riblets.

3. Love them. Buy them all the time.
I think Morningstar products are much tastier than Boca. I am addicted to the sausage patties. Must have them every morning.

4. Mmmmmm
I like them too!

I have been recently addicted to Grillers. I have to stop that! With my tomatoes getting ripe I think that will not happen for a while ;).

I gave my husband some of the ribs, he is a big rib fan, from KC with all the BBQ love and not a vegetarian and he thought they were OK to good. Not bad.

Barbecue Riblet and Corn Quesadillas

Ingredients

1 pouch Morningstar Farms® Hickory BBQ Riblets
1 teaspoon butter or margarine, divided
2 9-to 10-inch flour tortillas, divided
1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese, divided
1/4 cup frozen corn kernels, thawed, divided
2 tablespoons canned green chile peppers, drained, divided
1/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
2 tablespoons fat-free sour cream
1 tablespoon sliced green onion

Directions

1. Cook MORNINGSTAR FARMS HICKORY BBQ RIBLETS according to package directions. Cut riblets into bite-size pieces. Set aside.
2. In large nonstick skillet melt 1/2 teaspoon of the butter. Place 1 of the tortillas in skillet. Top half of the tortilla with 2 tablespoons of the Monterey Jack cheese, 2 tablespoons of the corn and 1 tablespoon of the chile peppers. Layer half of the riblet pieces and 2 tablespoons of the Cheddar cheese over peppers. Fold tortilla over cheese. Cook, over medium-low heat for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown and cheese melts, turning once. Remove from skillet. Repeat with remaining butter, tortilla, Monterey Jack cheese, corn, chile peppers, riblet pieces and Cheddar cheese.
3. Cut each quesadilla into 4 wedges. Spoon small dollops of sour cream on top. Sprinkle with green onion.

7. I love them! They are the only reason I will go to Wal-Mart.
Wal-Mart is the only place to get 'em around here. Sometimes I crave them. I keep asking the manager of the IGA to get them. Until he does, I have to go to the evil place once in a while.
