Whats in this new budget that the repugs are planning...
I saw a Democratic congress man asking the republicons when they were going to show them the budget, the other day he was asking as if the repubs are planning something big for the poor. Does anyone have any ideas whats in it and when is it suppose to be sent to the floor?

1. They'll cheat seniors out of their COLA since they'll lie about
inflation; the military, as always, will get lavish increases in every area but health and veterans' services; everything else will be cut but Stevens's bridge to nowhere in Alaska will be magically restored, as will several other pet projects of GOPs trying to open up land to development through aggressive road building.

Wanna bet?

4. I understand housing is BIG on the RW agenda for next budget
Since that affects me directly, I can't even begin to say how down I am about this.

I'd feel differently if there were a lot of support for poor folk among "progressives".
