Edited on Wed May-18-11 06:54 AM by Ichingcarpenter

Taken from the orbiting HiRISE camera the cliff is 700 meters high

For a really big picture click on the photo at the site.

Notice the football shaped crack to the south of the photo
with maybe CO2 vapor emitting from its edge.

1. Seems to be a lot of "Layers" on the wall that has been exposed.
I know a few Scientists that would LOVE to examine that wall. :)

5. Wow, incredible picture
but is this some of that "snake oil science stuff" that Sarah Palin warned us about?

If we're going to send people there, I have some nominations - as long as it's a one-way ticket.
