Time traveller convention at MIT coming up.
This guy sounds serious.

Write the details down on a piece of acid-free paper, and slip them into obscure books in academic libraries! Carve them into a clay tablet! If you write for a newspaper, insert a few details about the convention! Tell your friends, so that word of the convention will be preserved in our oral history! A note: Time travel is a hard problem, and it may not be invented until long after MIT has faded into oblivion. Thus, we ask that you include the latitude/longitude information when you publicize the convention.

2. Can we send all the neocons back about a hundred years? Huh? Can we?
They long for the good old days....we want them out of our hair....it would be a win/win situation!

Of course, the minority repugs might be in for an eye opener, but...

3. Hate to point out the obvious

but what makes you think that we DIDN'T / WON'T???

Something has to explain the colonial expansion era.

5. I'm loathe to introduce even *more* logic, but..
it will take a bit more than some latt/long coordinates. There's the bit where earth is moving thru space as time passes. Not just around the sun, but around the galactic core, etc.

;-)

although, one might want to include a brief overview of what lat/long coordinates mean, and where the reference point for long is. though, that probably wouldn't be much help in the far far far distant future, after millennia or more of continental drift.
