Check out the Aurora Gallery when you visit the sight. Lots of fantastic pictures to enjoy.

5. I got to see them in 2000 - when it was hundreds per hour.
Just amazing - went out at midnight (road that crosses a lake near my house - pitch dark) - once they started appearing everywhere, went home, woke up my wife and children, and we watched until nearly sunrise! Best astronomical event of my life.

I don't think this year's will be as significant, but will be better than typical.
