Ancient primate resided in Wyoming
This headline was just too good to pass up.

One of the earliest primates lived in what is now Wyoming.

A tiny cousin of the earliest ancestors of humans lived 54 million years ago, researchers report in today's online edition of Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

The animal resided in trees and relied more on smell than vision, a new study indicates.
