Dragonfly crop circle...

A 150ft long crop circle depicting a dragonfly has appeared in a barley field in the village of Yatesbury, Wiltshire.
04 Jun 2009

The intricate pattern comes after the discovery of a 600ft jellyfish crop circle in Oxfordshire.

Crop circle enthusiasts claim the succession of animal designs have been created in an attempt make people more aware of the threat of climate change and predict they could continue throughout the summer.

Steve Alexander, a crop circle fanatic, from Gosport, Hampshire, said: "Some years you do get themes developing and often you are looking for why this happens.

"It could be to reflect the status of the world at the moment with its financial, political and more importantly, environmental problems.

3. Obviously made by a dragonfly shaped alien spacecraft.
Humans just don't have the technology to flatten crops, or create intricate designs like dragonflies and circles.

5. I love how the wings look crinkled and the eyes look beady, very good job.
Only aliens with advanced technology could have done this!

6. Reckon it could be a Damselfly because of the separate eyes...
Damselflies are notorious for their voracious sex lives and for spawning the creation of the eponymous hard rock band from Vancouver, Canada.......

8. Gorgeous!
:wow:

Though I'm dismayed at the destruction of that part of the field, it is very beautiful.
