Tomorrow is a great opportunity to see a razor thin crescent moon
Spring (and fall) are the best times to spot a very new (hours old) crescent moon: The angle of the ecliptic wrt the horizon places it higher in the sky so you are seeing it through less atmosphere.

For sheer beauty, nothing beats a razor-thin crescent moon hanging over the western horizon in the fading evening twilight.

Tomorrow is a great time to spot one. Below, tips on what to look for and when you can see it:

1. I LOVE seeing that!
And if our sky will only cooperate...

It's been quite overcast lately.

The curse of living near the ocean: fog.

And that's a stunning picture, too!

Thanks for sharing!

2. Yep, love the young moons
Hoping our weather holds for another day or so but it isn't supposed to. :(
