"Pole Track is an international North Pole expedition setting out to support climate change research and to call attention to the changing Arctic and world climate. This expedition brings together a unique mix of experienced explorers and passionate professionals in the fields of science, nature conservation and sustainable development. The expedition will cross 1000 kilometers of Arctic Ocean to the North Pole. Theyre doing 620 miles in 63 days to North Pole. They will be helping deploy the International Arctic Buoy Programme (IABP) to monitor the ice.
