6. I wondered why the caption switched the expression
I think Monroe had in mind having the check add up to $0.002. There's nothing as interesting about e^(2 pi) (which the caption person stupidly spelled "pie") as e^(i pi)

Multiple "managers" could not acknowledge that there was any difference between 0.002 dollars and 0.002 cents - either way "it's 0.002"
