If you're a senior and shop at K Mart - have you received a senior discount?
According to this blog, K Mart offers a 20% discount for people who are 50+.

I contacted K Mart's customer service department but the rep didn't know about it and suggested I call or ask at the store. Meantime, she's going to look into it since the blog could generate calls asking about it.

This morning I signed up for Verizon's 65 Plus Plan for our cell service. It's just a savings of $7 a month. But it all adds up.

4. Here is a good site to get discounts on prescription drugs if you have no insurance
Edited on Mon Sep-19-11 04:29 PM by Snotcicles
You can look up drug prices in your zip code to find the cheapest Pharmacy.
You don't Have to be a Senior either.

5. Kohl's Department store
is currently giving a 15% discount to seniors over age 62 on Wednesday. They also discount sale prices at that rate.

I honestly keep on forgetting to ask for a senior discount everywhere.

7. I LOVE Kohl's Senior Day

I wait until I have one of their scratch off coupons and when I get a 30% off, I go on a Wednesday and stock up.

A Wisconsin company and an offshoot of Senator Herb Kohl's family businesses.

8. Ooooo, I don't think I've seen scratch-off
coupons in this market.

However, Every so often I get mailed to me or placed on my doorknob, a card or coupon worth ten bucks, with no minimum purchase requirement. Last Wednesday I had TWO of those, and bought a pair of Gloria Vanderbilt slacks, and with the senior discount it came to less than $10.00. I was quite pleased.

10. Wendy's is on this list.
When I inquired about it they said they only give a discount on drinks. This could vary from location to location, however. They do have coupons if you sign up on their website.

Another hint is to sign up on restaurants' website for emails. Some send coupons for substantial savings at birthday time.
