Not that the Supreme Court has anything to do with Justice these days, but

has there EVER been a single "liberal" Justice who was as far to the left as the many right-wing assholes who now squat on the bench are to the con extreme?

It seems to me that we occasionally get to "offset" a Nazi/repuke with a DLC-type of Democratic justice. I know that none of the four who lost the vote today would qualify as anything other than center-right on a political continuum.

The lines have been moved so far to the right that we are only fighting to survive, not to progress.
