Multi-vitamins may reduce the risk of heart attacks.
Do not throw out your multi's just yet.

This is a recent Swedish study that concluded:

"The use of multivitamins was inversely associated with MI, especially long-term use among women with no CVD (cardiovascular disease). Further prospective studies with detailed information on the content of preparations and the duration of use are needed to confirm or refute our findings."

2. Watch those weasel words
"Might," "could," "may," and other conditionals are sure signposts toward either a preliminary or flawed study, usually both.

3. No scientific study ever claims certainty.
not a serious one anyway. You seem to start from a basis that vitamins do not bring any benefits. This study is cautiously asserting that
they may. Besides may is my wording, as I know that some will attack any study that shows a positive result for supplements.
And you proved me correct.
