2. I can't stop crying

That is perhaps one of the saddest things I've ever seen. Alzheimer's runs in my family and I live in terror that what happened to my grandfather and great-grandfather and Great-aunt will one day happen to me.

If it does, I think I would want my family to not have to go through that, watching me slowly forget them and waste away. It was horrible with my grandfather, watching him forget his children, forgetting that his wife had died 14 years before. Before I get older, I hope they find a cure for Alzheimer's. It is perhaps the most devastating disease I can think of for a family to go through, as it's similar to a slow, lingering death of the individual while they are still sitting right there in front of you.
