What Is Dystonia? What Causes Dystonia?

A fairly thorough piece on dystonia, at least for lay people, and all cheerleaders.

4. Living with one or more movement disorders can really suck.
I am living proof that being hit by a car while cycling can change your life in a second.

This is one of the best sites for information that I've found.

8. Thank you.
The worst part is being told that one more little bump such as a fender bender, slipping on the ice or even a sneeze has the potential to end my life or at best make me a quadriplegic.

On the bright side, all of the specialists have said that there's no medical science that is able to explain why I'm not already in a wheelchair (or worse).
