Should we be focused on amendability or final outcome?
Maybe we dont get a perfect bill now, but we setup the structure for private insurance monopolies to fail, and set a future ground for single-payer or at least a real improvement down the line? it's taken 100 years to get a health care bill with no campaign finance reform (my #1 issue) so maybe we need to push and take and fix the other issues down the line. show strength now and fight more in four, six, or eight years. we need a win.
