Who has swine flu?

I am curious about the course of it. How does it begin (scratchy throat or a deluge of symptoms)? On what day does it peak? How many days until it's gone - or when do you get the pneumonia if you are going to get it?

It would be nice to hear from some regular people who have or think they have the swine flu.

1. Haven't had it, but CNN showed a list of the symptoms the other day,

and it sounded exactly like the flu I had in November--fever, achyness, headache, cough, nausea, dizzyness, fatigue, loss of appetite, chest congestion. For me, that flu started with a sore throat quickly followed by body aches. Not sure how that differs from swine flu, though.

2. I thought I might be getting it...

but think it's probably the bug my co-worker has. He has a nasty, croopy kind of cough. Things you think are crazy when you're young you start thinking about when your in your 40's. I'm forcing myself not to bring my can of Lysol to work and dispersing it over the cube every time he coughs.

3. I'm wondering about myself.

My head is feverish and I have some body aches and a bit of nausea. I work at a hotel front desk. We have lots of people come back and forth from Disney. I hope its not. I can't afford to be sick and at home. I need to pay my bills. Nobody is going to pay me to stay home and be sick. Wish we had a better social system and work regulations and healthcare system.

4. Here is how you can tell it apart from "regular flu". Get tested

Other than that, you can't tell as it is just like the regular flu, but a different virus

Kevin Bacon's last name is a name for cooked pork products...

I've watched movies with Kevin BACON in them....

I've watched movies with actors who have been in other movies with Kevin Bacon....

I've "hogged" the remote control at home....

I know I've got swine flu based on the "Bacon Rules"
