Memorial to commemorate the grotesque war

of the health care industry on the American people. With an American dying every 24 minutes due to lack of access to healthcare, I was wondering if I could amass the stories and images of these Americans and make paintings, portraits, which I could assemble together in some way. I want to find a concrete way to think about the real loss and cruelty in the system. How forthcoming do you think people will be, if I put out this general request? Does anyone know of any similar project? I am only in the "consideration stage" of this idea.

1. You've certainly got the artistic chops

I always envision a palace labeled "hospital" with fancy dressed guards at the gate keeping the rabble at bay.

It's how I've always felt being uninsured for over 20 years, most of which I worked as an RN.

How's that for irony?

The insurance industry wrote me off in 1987 and they're the only fuckers I truly hate.
