Does anyone know someone with a trache and no insurance
I have about 80 FR 14 suction tubes, new in packs, exp unknown that I would be willing to give them if they wanted to pay for shipping.

My trache has been allowed to close so I don't need them.

1. Congrats on not needing them anymore. I don't know anyone but will keep ears open.

2. thanks
I have a nasty scar on my neck but hey it's better than the death they thought I would have. Went to bed one night saying "gee there must be a bad storm comin coz my joints really ache" Woke up a month later in ICU with a trache, a feeding tube and a few tubes exiting. Had to be on a breathing machine, had a heart attack though small, at some point. They really never did tell me what really happened. Best I got was toxic blood bacteria and the rare pneumonia I had was back. But hey I lost a few pounds (they wouldn't put snacks in my feeding tube). I call it the comatose diet though I don't recommend it.
Hope I can hook up with someone who can make use of them.

4. they never really made it clear
I think they just don't know. I had a huge boil on my chin. One doctor thinks that it may have gotten into my blood. But yes something like septicemia or toxic shock. I've had boop, which is a fairly rare form of pneumonia since about Oct of 05. I was almost off the steroids when all of this happened. One doctor thinks it had to do with the boop. It's very hard to figure out. It was very weird.
Yes I was at CC, I think about Aug 14- 19ish. I was there when * drove by to go to the fundraiser down the road and when they had the neighbor shooting guns and saying he was hunting dove.
Glad to meet a fellow CCer.:hi:
