one bad apple.
kinda of knew this already, but ran across this on the joe.my.god. blog:

Donny Osmond On Gay Marriage
http://joemygod.blogspot.com/2008/11/donny-osmond-on-gay-marriage.html

i guess that's one vegas act to cross off the list (not that i'd ever see it anyway).

2. He's a Mormon, though. Not surprising in that case.
Seems like basically all of them either oppose gay marriage, or if they support it, they're so scared of church authorities that they'll deny it to your face (see: the recent Steve Young "No on 8" controversy).

4. Pretty typical Mormon reaction.
I've known quite a few in my day. They've always been perfectly kind and pleasant, but at the same time, I know what they really think:

"Donny Osmond "loves" his gay friends, even though he believes they are immoral whore-sluts bringing "calamities foretold by ancient and modern prophets" upon the nation. How does that work, exactly?"

That's the same question I would like to ask sometime.

5. That's exactly what a mor*on woman told me on line the night before H8
"I love my gay friends, but they are immoral and a direct threat to this nation."

:wtf:

Do they all get the same B.S. memo talking points?

That was the night before Prop8 and the election and I was trying to discuss gay rights - when I heard that I was gone, gone, gone, after a few choice words.

I seriously doubt they have any gay friends. Really.

6. Yep, that's just what I mean.
How do they hold all that cognitive dissonance in those Jello-infused brains?

8. LOL.
I think that's in 1 Maloney 3:15: "And thusly shalt thou wearest thy blessed chapeau as a holy garment of protection againstest all things ungodly and unclean; and to keepest inside thine head all manner of contradictions imposed by religion and faith. Amen and Amen."

9. With stones!
http://www.lds-mormon.com/jsmith.shtml

"Isaac found Joseph sitting at a table with a hat over his face, uttering long Biblical phrases. Emma sat behind a curtain, hidden from Joseph, while she wrote down the words Joseph was speaking. On the table-top in front of Joseph sat some square object concealed by a cloth. When Joseph removed his hat from his face, Isaac could see two stones in the hat, similar to the stones Joseph had used in divining the location of the "buried Spanish treasure.""
