Comedian Richard Lewis: Mary Cheney is 'Casper the Lesbian'
From Page One Q:

Comedian Richard Lewis, during a sit-down with MSNBC's Keith Olbermann, says that he can't understand why a gay person or a person of color would want to be involved with the Republican Party.

Dick Cheney's "wonderful daughter" Mary, Lewis says, should realize that she "doesn't count" in the Republican Party as a lesbian. "She's like Casper the Lesbian," Lewis quips.

The segment, called "Nobody Does it Bitter," highlights the continued use of Senator Obama's usage of the word "bitter," used during an April 6 speech to describe the sentiment among working-class people in the current economic climate, as an attempt by his opponents to frame him as an "elitist."

1. Casper the FRIENDLY lesbian
You know the non-threatening, non-angry, non-dyky one that all conservatives can just coddle and pretend they're not bigoted. Besides conservatives have never been as weirded out by two women like they are two men. Even queen Victoria didn't wish to extend sodomy laws to women. Of course it was because she couldn't fathom women doing such a thing, but lesbians seem to be far more acceptable than male gays for whatever damn reason. that said, as a 'bi' woman, I could never see why any gays would ever decide to join with their oppressors in the 'R' party, but then again, many people vote out of tradition and not out of personal benefit.
