(London) A Conservative Party member of Britain's House of Commons has been censured, banned from the House for ten days and ordered to repay taxpayer money he used for salaries for one of his sons and the boyfriend of another.
Derek Conway was not in the chamber when the House took the action.

A parliamentary committee began to investigate Conway when it was learned he had put his son, Henry Conway, on the payroll for about $100,000 a year but that he had not done any work. At the time he was supposed to be working as a researcher in his father's office he actually was a fulltime student at Newcastle University.
