Story Of Gay Baghdad Blogger Turned Into Film

gay Baghdad man whose online diary became one of the most read publications in the days leading up to the US-led war against Saddam Hussein has turned his story into a motion picture.

After a weekend course in documentary film-making, the man who called himself 'Salam Pax' took to the streets of war-ravaged Baghdad.

The result is a film called "Baghdad Blogger - Video Reports from Iraq" and will be showcased at the International Film Festival in Rotterdam, one of the world's largest gatherings for independent filmmakers.
