David "Mad Dad" Parker to be on call-in Radio Show Sunday Night
Edited on Thu Mar-01-07 10:23 AM by IanDB1
The following is from an email sent by the anti-gay Maoist Brian Camenker and Mass Resistance.

=== 2. David Parker to address judge's ruling on WRKO radio this Sunday night; CALL IN! ===

This Sunday evening, March 4, at 7-8 pm, David Parker will be on WRKO radio (680 AM) in Boston, on the "Pundit Review" show with Gregg Jackson. They'll be talking about the judge's ruling, the current state of parents' rights, and whatever else the conversation takes him to. This should be interesting.

WRKO (AM 680) can be heard in much of Massachusetts and some surrounding states.

David will be taking calls - so feel free to CALL IN!
The phone number is: 617-266-6868.

And the bigots helpfully telegraph their strategy to us:

=== 3. Where do we go from here? (Yes, this is serious.) ===

This should be a huge wake-up call for all of you. Especially if you live in Massachusetts.

I'm going to be brutally honest here. In just the last few years we've been confronted with horrible losses of parents' rights, religious freedom, and even a complete constitutional crisis. And it's on a momentum to get much worse. But lately, outside of a core group of good activists (and, yes, a number of good people calling reps) I haven't seen most of you taking this very seriously.

Too many of you seem to want to take the easy way out. It's easy to agonize and complain. Or email your friends and relatives. Some people join a prayer group, and that's fine but there are times when God calls on us to act and not rely on Him. A lot of people think that going out and holding signs outside of the State House, or a courthouse, constitutes positive action. But let's be frank: holding signs is mostly a social event. It makes you feel good. But except in special cases it doesn't really do much.

As you know, we at MassResistance did an enormous amount of work to introduce some bills for this Legislative session, to protect citizens and parents. In particular, the new Parents Rights Bill is, we believe, landmark legislation. And as such, it will be bitterly opposed by the usual special interests.

We have a unique opportunity, with an extended period to gather many needed co-sponsors. Over the last three weeks in these emails we asked and asked for people to come forward and go down to the State House and do the hard work of meeting with and, yes, confronting legislators and their staffs on this. No, this ain't sign-holding. This is real work.

And in the last three weeks how many people came forward? Exactly one. A lady in her 70s was willing to go into the State House day after day, and go office to office and bring YOUR case to these legislators, in person. We armed her with all the tools she needed, and she did it. But unfortunately, one person isn't an army, and we're still at the same number of co-sponsors we were at three weeks ago. And time is running out.

Maybe this is why the homosexual lobby is beating our brains in at the State House. And they are poised to push even more outrageous bills into law this year, and crush parents' rights and citizens' rights even more. But believe me, it's not because there are a lot more of them than there are of us. It's because too many of us haven't learned from history what happens when a free people take their freedoms for granted.

We're going to keep talking about this in these emails. We're not ready to quit by any means, but there are days when we wonder. If parents and citizens are going to take back their government, it's got to start somewhere. We say: Let it start with this.

For the time being, here are some things you should do.

1. Can any of you take a day, or part of a day, and go down to the State House? Or can you arrange a physical meeting with your own representative and senator? These people need to see the whites of your eyes. CONTACT US and we'll set you up with everything you need.

2. Go to our TAKE ACTION page and call as many legislators on the list as you can (the instructons are there). Or better yet, pick a few to focus on. Especially if they're your own legislators, DO NOT take "no" for an answer. Pretend like this is important, and not just a social call. These people have your liberties in their hands. Right now, they must co-sponsor the Parents Rights Bill by calling Sen. Hedlund's office and getting their name added to the list.

3. The next step is going to be to start forming local group in your community, and we'll be talking about more. You can get started now by calling people you know and arranging a meeting. Maybe in a church or community center, or even in a home. Of course, we can help you a lot in this Believe me, the homosexual lobby has been doing this for years, and they brag about it. It's time we caught up. This will be a big part of taking back the State House, and more.

It's hard to believe that our spiritual forbearers in Lexington back in 1775 were willing to stand up and get shot over a lot less than this. They understood the truth, they were unafraid to say it and act on it. That's why we fly the stars and stripes and not the Union Jack on our flagpoles. In this time of crisis, are you up to the challenge?
