7. Most of the morning, trying to access the GLBT forum resulted in an error

A very odd one, with a counter. I've never seen the page before. None of the other forums I read were affected, so I'm guessing it was something specific rather than system wide.

Just curious why, that's all.

5. I sent a PM to the mods this morning about it ...

they didn't know there was a problem with that forum, but said they'd get it fixed.

6. We have a new version of our database software installed

So far, unfortunately, it seems more prone to minor table corruptions that result in a forum going down temporarily. Hopefully it's just part of the breaking in process, but if it continues, we'll consider moving back to the old version.
