(Washington) The Pentagon tried to develop a bomb that would turn an opposing army "gay" according to newly declassified documents.

The papers, obtained by the New Scientist and the Sunshine Project - an organization that exposes research into chemical and biological weapons - show that during the Clinton presidency the military attempted to create a series of non-lethal chemical weapons that would disrupt discipline and morale among enemy troops.

One weapon that the Pentagon worked on is described as an "aphrodisiac" that would make enemy soldiers sexually irresistible to each other.

I'm not sure how I should feel about this. I am, however, reminded of the first X-Men movie. If such a weapon could be produced I'd love to see it tested on anti-gay bigots. No better way to remove an enemy than to make them an ally. :evilgrin:

6. I have mixed feelings.

On one hand I'm outraged. On the other I'm disappointed. Then, if I had a third hand, I'd want to see such a weapon used on people like Fred Phelps, Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson.

Of course, if such a bomb existed I can already hear people like the Bush Administration talking about a "gay dust cloud over <insert major city here>". It would just cause wide spread panic and resentment of gays.

I think most of all I'm insulted. Creation of such a bomb, which I don't believe would be possible, is basically saying "homosexuality is such a horrible condition that it should be feared by all straight people."

I am still reminded of the first X-Men movie. I supported Magneto. :silly:
