In an opening statement made to a large crowd in Palm Springs, city Mayor Pro Tem Ginny Foat described two choices she had made during her Saturday morning.

1. I see this as another "individual conscience" issue.
Authenticity is a matter of conscience, something that is sorely lacking in America today.

3. No, it's a matter of individual conscience to be what you are.
I was thiking about how similar that is to any matter of individual conscience in which one accepts or rejects any other form of collective "morality".
