1. We are doing our best
to support them. The Southwest Chapter of KEC is having their meeting there (or had, I have not looked lately) with a raffle and we have been thinking of having our state board meeting there since it is our turn to go to SW Kansas so there would be some of us staying there and eating there and spending a little money there.

A little good news is welcome. Thanks.

2. That is great!

There is a day coming when sexual orientation will be merely an interesting fact to know about someone, like where they are from or what their hobbies are. Everyone will be treated the same, and gays will have the same rights as everyone.

3. That is what we are working for.
I don't know if I will live to see that day but I will work for it as long as I do live. One of my friends told me this weekend that he and his partner are leaving for Denmark soon. He was so happy there when no one looked at him funny and he was not afraid. I will miss him but I am happy he has found a place that will welcome him.

4. At DUP camps it is like that
The only reason I even know that anyone is gay or lesbian is that they usually have a meeting sometime during the camp, or someone celebrates an anniversary with their partner, etc, etc. (DUP is Dances of Universal Peace, btw).

5. I sure hope that day comes soon.
I must admit. I love your optimism.

7. That's great to hear! What they're going to need is a camera
surveillance system to help deter future attacks.

That would be awesome to hook the hotel up with that!

The town seems so small, any vandal caught on tape would surely be recognized fairly quickly.

6. I'm guessing the father of the two sons WAS NOT Fred Phelps?
My money is still on him as being the one who threw the brick.
