LGBT Affinity Survey

The G/L Census folks sent me this link, and I just took the survey. It's anonymous, takes about five minutes, and focuses on LGBT organizations -- if you donate to any, which ones, etc. The most interesting part was the "rate on a scale of 1 to 5" the legal issues that are most important to you when choosing an LGBT organization to support. It also asks specific questions about HRC and Lambda Legal.

My guess is that this is probably being sponsored by Lambda Legal, which seems to be floating ideas for various new action campaigns.

Given some of the charges that a lot of teh national LGBT organizations are "out of touch," its good to see some of them actually asking the rest of us what we think

I thought about saying I donate to Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays, just to mess with their heads, but thought better of it and answered all the questions seriously instead.

I love surveys and obviously can't do this one. But I still love them. And I am glad one of the groups is actually wiling to listen to the community. :)

...(I think it's in the spring), you can do that one, for sure -- they actively solicit fur-i-ners' input. ;)

I took the survey. I hope they get some useful information from it.
