Twin Cities Pride is this weekend
and I've been encouraging my FB friends to boycott Human Rights Campaign (HRC) for being a party shill and not a true advocacy group for GLBT people. I have no idea if it will have any affect at all, but I hope so. HRC needs to be ground into the dust, or alernatively, to be come a group that truly advocates for gay people, not just the Obama administration.

When I'm walking around Loring Park, and come to the HRC tent, instead of just saying "no thanks" to the people with clipboards as I have for the past few years, I will confront them with the pro-status-quo nature of HRC.

the Queer Music Consortium booth. Great groups! I know a lot of folks in the Minnesota Philharmonic Orchestra, including my daughter!
