I'm back, and fighting mad.

Well, not too long ago I spoke at the County Democratic Committee meeting about the treatment gays are getting from local Democratic candidates. I also was the only person to oppose the elevation of a new County Chair who had lived in our County a total of four years.

A week ago, a local newspaper's gossip column started to speculate about who the lone "no" vote was.

The next day I wrote to the column acknowledging that I was the no vote and why.

Two days ago it was printed.

Today I found that someone had left a dead rat, with its throat cut, on my front steps.

Needless to say I got the message. And I've decided to do the opposite of what a sensible person would do.

I'm going to speak louder and fight harder. And those who oppose me be damned.
