Advocate.com Fail

[The Philosopher]

An article on Advocate.com has the headline "Chiro Gets 30 Years for Gay Porn." The article is about a man who posed as a teenager to trick other teens for "graphic photos and videos." So he actually was convicted for child porn, not gay porn as the headline states.

I used to run ads with them, and with David... It has been years, though... but I always thought they were actually an advocate!

I hardly read Advocate because the site is a heavy load for me, but I got them on Twitter. So when I saw the "30 years for gay porn" tweet, I was like, "WTF?" Then the WTF got bigger when I clicked on the link. I don't see how there wasn't ONE person who didn't catch the title.

That's pretty sad.

I only went there when I placed ads, to be sure they showed up! I was doing accounting for a gay business, and I ended up doing advertising too. It was an education!

Yes, they have changed it, thank goodness. But I'm appalled they ran the original headline in the first place.
