I almost passed out today at the Alan Ross Freedom Parade in Dallas today

I must be a moron. Here I am, hiking over two miles through uptown Dallas with fully-loaded computer bag over my shoulder, surrounded by some 25,000 gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transgendereds, and various family members and supporters. And we're all cheering for the parade floats and Democratic candidates in what feels like 100-degree weather.

And I'm fully dressed. In dark colors. Suddenly, I'm thinking that young guy wearing only white low-rise briefs is a freakin' genius.

But I'm glad I went, because by attending I was supporting many of my friends througout the Metroplex. And I know for sure Ginny would have gone if she were able to.
