I know this wont come as a shock to most people here but head on over to:
http://www.fatherhood.gov/I think its great that they are helping people be better parents. Im appalled at their complete lack of resources and inclusion for GLBT families.
according to the about page the website is :
Who We Are
The National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse (NRFC) is a service of the Administration for Children and Families' (ACF) Office of Family Assistance (OFA), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The NRFC captures information about policies, priorities, trends, research findings, promising practices, and emerging lessons from the field and helps key audiences translate that knowledge into policies and practices that make a difference for fathers, children, families, and communities.
So its payed for by our taxes. But yet when you do a search on the site for "gay" you get ZERO results. In fairness the site does have the Presidents Fathers Day statement that includes "two Dads." (which could be straight or gay) I can not find one instance of gay Dads in the whole site.
Theres even a section on Healthy Relationships and Marriage - but you wont find gays there either

There are pictures of families - they are all smiles and a variety of colors - and they are all straight. here:

http://www.fatherhood.gov/library There is a section on education and fatherhood that might as well be taken from the Anti-gay talking points, insisting a child needs a father to be healthy.
http://www.fatherhood.gov/practitioners/for-your-fathers/fathers-and-educationWhen fathers are involved in the lives of their children, especially their education, children learn more, perform better in school, and exhibit healthier behavior. Even when fathers do not share a home with their children, their active involvement can have a lasting and positive impact. There are countless ways to be involved in your child’s education at all ages. This section of the National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse website highlights some of them.
I could go on... there is a lot on that site thats missing including us.
