And by Ed Wood's Hollywood, I mean that Hollywood that exists in that dark basement of straight to video, really low-budget reality shows, and the celebrity endorsement advertisements you only see at 3am. I know there are a few respected actors who are conservatives: Gary Sinise, Robert Duvall, Clint Eastwood. However, the majority of those who are rightwing are decades past employment beyond the desperation jobs that the Ed Wood Hollywood offers. I imagine they claim discrimination by leftist Hollywood. But, my guess is that if you make money for Hollywood, and people want to watch your TV show or movie, then you can be as batshit crazy conservative as you wanna be. Right, Mickey Rourke?
