No same-sex marriage vote in NY today.
It appears the Senate is not going to take up a vote on same-sex marriage. No word on why, but a flat out no to the question from the Democratic leadership has been stated. No one was sure which way it would come down, but the hill was against us. It's kinda eye popping, the big idea among our supporters was to have it regardless of which way the vote went as a means of identifying who does and doesn't support us.

1. The NY state senate is a massive clusterfuck to end all clusterfucks.
In fact, calling it a clusterfuck may make it sound more fun than it really is.

Put it this way, there's maybe 4 people I'd drag out of the building if it were on fire. Then I'd brick up the windows and doors.
