I just voted for Marriage Equality in Maine.
Hoping when I get home from work that "No on 1" will be victorious and Maine can be the first state in the union to have Marriage Equality supported by popular vote.

I lived in Maine not long ago, and know many gay and lesbian families there. I'm sweating bullets on their behalf today.

13. I just got back from doing the same!
:fistbump: I'm going to be on edge though until we get the results in.... I'm still of the mind this never should have been put to a popular vote. Civil rights shouldn't be.

15. I'm in SoPo and there was a steady flow of voters
wasn't a huge line (maybe 20 deep) like when I voted in the presidential election (that stretched out the building) but I voted at a completely different time of day this year.

22. Thanks for the hug. I'm so damned disgusted right now.
I was so certain we would just barely win this one. With high turnout reports and promising early results, I truly thought we would win this fight in Maine. I need to go to bed.
