I'm not giving my opinion. Just want to know what you think.

1. I don't find anything humorous about rape and fear of rape being leveraged
for a jeans ad. That's what I think.

2. Agreed. He obviously thought he might be raped so he wore jeans in the shower.

7. My opinion...
Glad to know I'm not alone. I did not find the commercial humorous in the least.

9. Agreed
Without the "prison rape" angle it would have been cute. I could have found it amusing if people were looking at him strange for wearing the jeans in the shower because he just liked them so much he refused to take them off or something like that. But rape in any form is never cute or funny.

5. My sense of humor is usually pretty detached and easily offended people annoy me.
So, I am allowing that I might be a little hypocritical in saying that I don't find this commercial funny, but I don't think I truly am. It offends me as a gay man that one of few places I would see men having sex and relations on TV would be a prison scenario, but that's not the real reason.

First and foremost- this is a stupid commercial. Stupid offends me more than anything else. But years and years of people, educated people, who cheer at the prospect of some rapist or child molester being raped in prison, or who joke around at how much a gay man might enjoy being gang raped by thugs in prison, just sort of kills the irreverent jokester in me.

8. It Didn't Offend Me, But I Didn't Find It Particularly Funny.
