Has anyone here heard of the "Equality Ride"?

Pardon my intrusion, I don't generally wander out of LBN and GD... I could get in so much trouble exploring the number of forums on DU...but my fiance brought this to my attention the other day.

She was a college student at Asbury, a Christian college in KY. During a Google search for her college's website, the Equality Ride came up.

How it caught her attention was that one of the Student Letters was written by a guy she went to college with. She said that everyone knew he was gay (not gaydar, but the fact he would pick up guys while away from campus). She also said that she remembered students being singled out, kicked out, forced into counseling (like Exodus), etc.

I was just curious if anyone had heard about this and what, if any, general impression there is.

Imma gonna bookmark this one, so I don't lose it. Both of us would be interested in what DU'ers have to say about it.
