2. Defend DADT?
It would be horrible for troop morale to worry about gay men staring at them in the showers, and to know that the dude they're sharing a foxhole with likes the buttseks. Maintaining the status quo of giving ex-convicts "moral waivers" is far preferable to letting highly qualified queers in to disrupt the system. :sarcasm:

PS: My wife is going off to sleep and is too lazy to get back up and type her answer which is "King takes Queen...illegally".

10. Exactly. After giving our treasury to the banks, claim that we're too poor
to help the desperately poor. We can only go into debt to help the rich.

at which point his acolytes will tell us that this is actually a fiendishly clever strategy to save the mountains.

17. OK, how's this one.
Obama will systematically (and for no reason in particular) alienate a loyal Democratic constituency that could well have provided his narrow margin of victory in several swing states.

Oh wait....

19. Now we know: Obama affirms committment to sign repeal of DOMA
Not that he's going to lift a finger to get that going,
BUT,
IF,
the House AND the Senate decide to repeal DOMA, he will go along and bravely sign it.
